72° ED Series 40mm Waterproof Eyepiece

The Explore Scientific 72 degree ED 40mm eyepiece with a 2 inch barrel is designed to deliver the widest possible field of view in the series, making it ideal for sweeping the night sky and observing the largest celestial objects. With its 2 inch barrel and expansive 72 degree apparent field of view, this eyepiece provides a truly immersive perspective. It allows you to take in entire star fields and large deep sky objects in a single view.

The extra low dispersion glass ensures that image quality remains sharp and well corrected, with reduced color fringing and improved contrast.
