Nikon 28mm f/2.8 AI-S

Looking for a small, sharp wide-angle? This classic 28mm gives you a wide view, smooth manual focus, and great close-ups. It works on 35mm film SLRs and many Nikon F-mount DSLRs. Close-Range Correction (CRC) helps keep details crisp at all distances.

Why you’ll like it

• Wide 28mm view: fit more of the scene in one shot.

• f/2.8 aperture: shoot indoors or at dusk without a flash.

• Very close focus ~0.20 m (7.9 in): perfect for details and everyday macro-style shots.

• CRC floating optics: improved sharpness up close and far.

• Compact metal build with smooth focus ring.

Compatibility (read first)

• Mounts on most Nikon F-mount 35mm SLR film cameras.

• Works on many Nikon F-mount DSLRs; focusing is manual, and metering/EXIF support varies by model. Check your camera’s manual for AI/AI-S lens support.
