SATISFACTION PROMISE
Description
“Do not fear mistakes. There are none.”
If St. Louis was the gateway to the West, Miles Davis was the gateway to high art. Hailing from East St. Louis, he turned the American attention onto the notes, influencing everyone from Thelonious Monk to John Coltrane to Beat Generation to boxing’s Roberto Duran. How did he have that kind of reach? That trumpet came from the high places of heaven, as evidenced by his Birth of Cool. The decades rolled by with him providing the soundtrack. Culture jumped to the sounds of this man’s expressions.
Officially licensed by Miles Davis.
