This graphic design, “May Basket”, was one of twelve magazine covers designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1927 for Liberty magazine. Although they were not published at that time, these designs have proved to be timeless. Mr. Wright developed two of them into rug designs in 1955, and they and others have been adapted for other products as well.
