Barton House Buffet Door Window
Product Description
Wright was commissioned by Darwin D. Martin to design the Barton House for his sister and her husband. The Prairie style home, built on the northeast corner of the Martin House lot, displays continuity, complexity, and refinement in its art glass patterns. This product design was adapted from the art glass doors of the dining room's large, built-in-buffet. The design of the buffet doors and art glass windows in the home are interrelated through Wright's use of cascading chevrons, squares, and rectangles creating a woven matrix.
