O Sole Mio Rollerball Pen // Blue

The O Sole Mio Rollerball Pen from the Xezo collection celebrates the power of inspiration. It is entirely made by hand from its clip to the painted metal grip section, and each pen has a unique serial number. The pen’s balanced barrel and cap are produced from solid brass and are painted using a hand held spray gun. Between 30 to 40 layers of paint blended with different colors are applied on the barrels and grip section of each pen, and after each layer of paint there is a layer of clear lacquer applied on the surface of the barrels and grip section and then the surface is manually polished and thermo-baked.

Such steps are repeated with each layer of paint applied. At the end of the process, the entire body is topped with a triple layer of translucent coating and polished. The spring clip is 4-sided and is manually polished for a one-of-a-kind look. The other metal parts are made of brass and are 18K gold-plated. Even the most sophisticated photography can't capture the full effect of the unique hues and colors of this pen. You'll just have to see it for yourself.
