It was Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking who popularized the idea that earth and every living thing is made of star matter. Inspired by that notion and produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces with each pen individually numbered, the Star Dust series evokes images of star dust captured by a telescope. The pens are made of solid brass and are painted in multi-layers of dark and light blue colors using a hand held spray gun in order to create a unique color overlap which resembles images of star dust. This manual process means that no two pens are exactly alike. All fittings are solid brass with 18-karat gold plating. The ergonomically designed shape of the pen allows for an exceptionally balanced writing experience, suitable for small, medium, and large size hands.
