Ben Shope is a software engineer, runner, and indoor gardening enthusiast. He loves growing all kinds of plants indoors; herbs for cooking, Sansevieria for fresh air, and succulents because they are adorable.

The Window Pods design project started about a year ago, when Ben filled his window with plants in traditional flowerpots. These planters called for a serious improvement; a design that was beautiful, saved space, and gave plants more light. After trying out many ideas over the course of a year, the Window Pods indoor planter was ready to release. The final design attaches plants directly to a window’s glass - where the plants receive the perfect amount of sunlight each day, creating ideal growing conditions and saving space for people in an urban dwelling.
