A divot tool is used to repair the putting green when “divots” are formed by the ball landing and creating a crater deviating the path of your put. This one is handcrafted from Bocote wood, a species from Mexico and Central/South America. The grain patterning can be quite striking, particularly on flatsawn areas. It’s not uncommon to see many “eyes” and other figuring in Bocote wood.
