Weta Workshop
The Hobbit // Dwalin's Axes & Stand
Product Description
A dwarf warrior of great renown among his people, Dwalin the Dwarf, son of Fundin, was proficient with arms of all kinds. But when laying blows swiftly and against many adversaries at close quarters, he liked nothing better than the two single-handed axes he wore crossed upon his back. Named Ukhlat and Umraz, the short-hafted axes were simple in shape, wide in blade and heavy in head. Upon their broad faces their Khuzdul names were carved in runes.
This authentic replica prop of Dwalin's Axes & Stand was handcrafted by the Weta Workshop, utilizing the same techniques, materials, and molds used to create the original piece for the Hobbit films. Individually hand painted, and constructed from high impact urethane this iconic prop comes complete with a reinforced polystone wall plaque so you can display it with pride. It makes a unique addition to any art collection, and an exquisite focal point for your living space. Weta Workshop treats each prop replica with the same level of care, quality, and attention to detail that they bring to their film work, resulting in an incredible, one of a kind display piece that shows off your love for this pioneering fantasy series, and innovative workshop.
