An incredible, collector’sAntique Caucus Kilim. Fabulous natural dyes and intricate, geometric design make this a rare piece that you’ll want to keep in the family for generations to come.
Features a wonderful composition of interlocking primary medallions down either side of the Kilim. The interlocking patterns terminate in hands-on-hips motifs, between which they hold the secondary medallions. Wonderful examples of stars/crosses are scattered across the rug’s field. Last but not least, the Kilim is framed on either end of the rug by fantastic, colorful, interlocking borders that end in unique tassels.

— Condition: Very good condition for age. As a flatweave, this kilim is reversible (though it does have an intended right-side-up, which is the lighter side (due to years of exposure to natural light). Some tassels missing, and others showing signs of wear. No major damage to rug or selvages. Wear commensurate with age and hand knotted origin.
