Does the amount of water added affect the resistance?These machines are all designed to give you a natural resistance. This is created by the drag that the paddles create while moving through the water. Essentially, the more you put into your stroke, the more the machine will resist. Just like you're on the water. The tank itself will have a water level gauge sticker with a max fill line (approx 4 gallons) that should not be exceeded.
