Product Description
All of the Vyrus 986 M2 bodywork is made of the highest quality, lightest carbon fiber available today. To celebrate this exotic material, The Carbon Black 986 M2 is finished in many coats of clear paint, with added matte black panels and minimal red accents for extra sophistication. The frame and all alloy parts are black anodized. The wheels are forged aluminum and the brakes are Brembo RCS masters with upgraded Brembo HP billet calipers. The suspension is Ohlins TTX technology at both ends. The engine, fuel injection and electrics are Honda CBR600RR production. This 986 M2 was the first of its kind constructed in the USA, and was taken to a local racetrack for suspension development. Following the test, Bimota Spirit — the builders of the motorcycle — worked with the Andreani Group, the Ohlins suppliers to the World Superbike and Supersport Racing teams, to refine the settings. In the words of Bob Steinbugler — owner of Bimota Spirit and former National Endurance Series Champion) — “this is one of the most fun motorcycles that I have ever ridden on a racetrack! It's fantastic!”
