The Springfield Manual Wind // 002 // c.1922 Renewal

The Springfield is a 100% made in America pocket watch conversion. This watch makes a statement, tells a story, and is completely one-of-a-kind. This antique, 12 size (47mm case), Illinois Watch Company pocket watch movement (timekeeping portion) was originally made in 1922 in Springfield, Illinois. This particular watch features a very decorative, 19 jewel, movement adjusted to three positions with brass accents. The movement has been professionally restored and is keeping time like the day it was made. The Patent Pending case is 3D printed from stainless steel and infiltrated with molten bronze before an “Antique Bronze" patina was applied. Each case is engraved with a unique serial number, this watch being serial #002 (it is the second watch conversion made using an Illinois movement).

The custom made, gold plated crown is at 12 o'clock, also known as the “openface” pocket watch style. All watches have open, exhibition backs. Both the front and back crystals are made from Corning Gorilla Glass with an oleophobic (fingerprint resistant) coating. The dial is original, white, single sunk enamel with black painted numerals with original blued steel hands. All bands are 22mm and handcrafted in the United Stated using American Leather.
