Metis is the innermost, tidally locked moon of Jupiter. This means that it completes a rotation at the same time as it completes an orbit. Metis is also uniquely linear in shape with its horizontal length double its vertical height. This linear, balanced lunar masterpiece was the inspiration for VONN’s Metis collection of lighting fixtures.
