Made with Aluzinc coated metal, the Vego Garden Bed lasts 3 – 7 times longer than regular galvanized steel beds, and far longer than treated wood raised beds. They are also highly rust and corrosion resistant. Unlike treated wood or plastic, Aluzinc steel contains only micro amounts of harmless elements that may pass into soil during the bed’s lifetime. As aluminum, zinc, and iron are essentials elements for the soil, your Vego bed is also 100% soil safe.

The Vego Garden is further finished with a highly durable, specialized paint blended for the farming industry by AkzoNobel. The paint is food-grade and USDA Certified, and adds an additional layer of protection against rust and corrosion.
