Valyrian Steel
Excalibur // Damascus Edition
Product Description
This collectible display sword is patterned after the famous Excalibur.
The legend of King Arthur has been studied and debated for centuries by historians and folklorists alike. It isn't known for sure whether Arthur was a real person, or which figure - or combination of figures - the stories might be based on. In almost all of the stories, the sword Excalibur is a prominent motif— sometimes said to possess magical powers, sometimes said to be tied to the sovereignty of Britain itself.
In some tellings of the legends, Excalibur was the sword that Arthur pulled from the stone, proving his right to rule, but in most— contrary to popular belief— the sword in the stone was actually called Caliburn, and Arthur receives Excalibur from The Lady in the Lake after destroying Caliburn in battle with King Pellinore, unseating him from the throne.
