Bar Gatsby II // Grace Popp
Product Description
Art Deco is a particular style of art, jewelry, fashion, architecture and even car design that first popped up in France just before the start of WWI, and became extremely popular in the United States during the 1920s. It's known for combining modernist styles with fine craftsmanship and rich materials, and known to represent glamour, opulence, and a rosy optimism for technological and social change.
Most notably, the Chrysler Building and several other New York City skyscrapers built during the 1920s and 1930s are monuments of the Art Deco style. The style languished after WWII, eventually replaced by a more muted, functional style that came to be known as Mid Century Modern.
This exclusive collection of canvas prints is inspired by the characteristics and themes of the Art Deco style, to help you bring a splash of old-world luxury to any empty space.
