Port Authority // 42 Street
Product Description
The 42nd Street-Port Authority station opened on September 10, 1932. It has an average annual ridership of over 60 million. Found throughout New York City subway terminals, MTA signs are easy to take for granted, but these signs are some of the best examples of Helvetica in its purest, most functional form. For those with a real appreciation for typography, these original subway signs can have significant artistic and nostalgic value.
