In the Ukiyo-e Heroes project, illustrator Jed Henry and traditional woodblock printmaker Dave Bull have combined their talents to create Japanese woodblock style prints that bring a surprising twist to iconic heroes, villains, and monsters across almost every genre. Modern costuming has been traded for the medieval, but the essence of each character remains.

This particular design requires over 17 individual impressions to achieve a full range of color.The right cartouche means "Fur and claw, steel and flame," and the left cartouche literally means "star" and "fox.
