In the Ukiyo-e Heroes project, illustrator Jed Henry and traditional woodblock printmaker Dave Bull have combined their talents to create Japanese woodblock-inspired prints. Machine printed on handmade Japanese paper, each piece brings a surprising twist to iconic heroes, villains, and monsters spanning almost every genre. Modern costuming has been traded for the medieval, but the essence of each character remains.

The left caption contains the two characters 巨冥, which translate to "colossal" and "shadow." The right caption reads 童令顫天, which loosely translates to "A young man commands the heavens."
