An awesome, highly detailed 1:18 scale diecast model of the Interscope Racing #0 Porsche 935 Turbo that won the 1979 Daytona 24 Hours with Danny Ongais and Hurley Haywood behind the wheel. The race provided one of the most memorable in the Daytona 24 Hour history. The #0 935 had an incredible 53 lap lead but with 7 minutes to go the turbochargers started seizing and completely locked up on the final lap. Ongais was driving at the time and stopped 100 yards from the finish line and had to wait for the engine to restart and limped the #0 Porsche across the finish line for the win! This replica features a perfect replication of the Interscope livery, removable hood piece that shows the fully detailed front suspension, removable rear engine bonnet that reveals the fully detailed turbocharged 6 cylinder, opening doors that shows the detailed race interior complete with roll cage, and so much more!
