Building a hovercraft out of a door and trashbags, potato cannons, pneumatic engines and more. Carter got started designing young. After working for multiple companies including Fram and Skullcandy, and a mechanical engineering degree, he decided to take his own direction. Building a bottle opener in his spare time quickly evolved into a full-time gig.
