Tagliatelle, is derived from the Italian word tagliare, meaning “to cut”. It refers to a type of pasta originating from the Marche region of Italy, where TruffleHunter was founded. TruffleHunter is proud of their heritage, and continues to work with expert pasta makers in the region to ensure their tagliatelle’s authenticity. This restaurant quality Black Truffle Tagliatelle offers a subtle hint of black truffle in each bite.
This pasta should be cooked in lightly salted boiling water for 4-5 minutes. Drain and toss with a tablespoon of TruffleHunter Black Truffle Oil and finish with finely grated parmigiana. Ideal quantity for 4 persons.
The Porcini Strozzapreti pasta is handmade in San Ginesio by the local pasta makers at Terra Nostra—one of TruffleHunter's first suppliers. It's made with 100% local durum wheat and water from a natural spring in the Sibillini Mountains where TruffleHunter was founded.
This pasta should be cooked in lightly salted boiling water for 6 minutes. Drain and toss with some sautéed mushrooms and/or shaved fresh truffles. Add a light drizzle of TruffleHunter Black or White Truffle Oil and finish with finely grated parmigiano. Ideal quantity for 4 persons.
