This wide angle security camera features a PIR sensor for real-time motion detection, as well as a built-in microphone and speaker for clear 2-way audio communication.

Installation is easy, with no complicated wiring to worry about. SImply insert the included Smart Socket into an existing light fixture and install the light bulb into it. Connect the USB cable from the security camera to the port on the Smart Socket, and follow the instructions on the Kuna app to connect the camera to your smartphone. Once connected, you can use the app to control multiple cameras in different locations, receive instant notifications when motion is detected, control the smart light remotely, and even sound the alarm to scare off unwanted visitors— all from the palm of your hand.

The captured footage is available for up to two hours free of charge on the Kuna app and for up to 30 days using the optional paid subscription service. With safety features built-in, Toucan is a convenient third-eye providing you peace of mind, no matter where you are.

Do you need to subscribe to the app, or is it optional?

It is optional to subscribe.

Does it work on a iPhone/Android?

Yes, the free Kuna app is compatible with all iPhones and Androids.

Can this be mounted to the ceiling or does it have to go on a wall?

Having it installed in a ceiling will most likely not allow you to see the persons face. It is recommended to have it install on the wall to get a better view.

What country is the device manufactured in?

The hardware is manufactured in China and the software is developed in America.

Can I use it a 5g wifi?

It's compatible with 2.4GHz and not 5GHz.

Is the camera HD 1080p?

The camera is HD 720p.

My light source is in the ceiling, will I still be able to use this? How would I mount it?

Yes, you may, you would just install the socket to your light fixture then connect the USB cable which is 3 feet long and mound the camera on the wall. If the USB cable is not long enough for you then you may purchase a USB extender.
