TOPS Knives is often approached by individual Operators who advise us of their ideas and the criteria that need to be met for their Unit or Team. We were challenged to develop a small knife, with a narrow carrying profile, that had to be strong and lightweight. With these criteria in mind, we created and named the Mil-SPIE Knives. First came the Mil-SPIE 3, then the Mil-SPIE 5 and later came the Mil-SPIE 3.5 folders. They have been very popular due to their solid construction and TOPS quality. The Tanto point versions are perfect for those in military, law enforcement, or those looking for a solid self-defense blade. It is a go-to-it EDC folder. This knife is a combination of rugged good looks, lightweight steel, a secure grip, a great working blade, and a sturdy clip attachment. All in all, a positive carry for a wide variety of tasks.
