2 Mini Dragon Planar Magnetic Satellite Speakers:
Housed in elegant, adjustable, collapsible, aircraft-grade anodized aluminum frames, the Mini Dragon planar magnetic speakers breathe life into music with astounding accuracy and vivid imaging at any listening level. With traditional speakers, sound moves out in all directions from one point, reflecting off surfaces and generating sharp peaks and dull interference with an uneven frequency and phase response. With these 2 dipole planar magnetic satellites, you'll get coherent sound waves propagating along the axis of the originating planes, while simultaneously canceling the 180 degrees out-of-phase back waves and eliminating reflections. The resulting nearfield full-range sound is effortlessly delivered to the sweet spot with shockingly lifelike imaging and immersive 3D sound staging. The planar magnetic drivers are also exceptionally efficient, requiring only a few watts of power from MD-4 high-end amplifier to reach comfortable listening levels.

The Dragonfire SB-8P Subwoofer:
Actively powered with 180W RMS on tap, this subwoofer features a high-speed, long-excursion, low-distortion 8” woofer coupled with a custom long-excursion 8” passive radiator blending seamlessly with the Mini Dragons from 30-to-200Hz.

The Dragonfire MD-4 Amplifier:
Built into an anodized aluminum enclosure that matches the speakers, the MD-4 Amplifier is a hand-crafted class-D DAC/AMP/DSP system controller featuring audiophile-grade AD/DA conversion through its balanced XLR, SPDIF, and USB inputs. An advanced DSP engine for speaker calibration offers a total of 140 parametric filters for equalization with crossovers, delays, phase correction, compression, and limiting.

The MD-4 4-channel amplifier delivers 250 watts RMSper channel of full-spectrum power from 1-to-100kHz, and when combined with the drivers’ 100dB/W efficiency accurately and precisely reproduces music at any comfortable listening level. Free of high-frequency damping networks, it also maintains an extremely high-voltage rail-to-RMS-power-rating-ratio at over 93% efficiency. This ensures minimal cooling requirements and maximum long-term reliability. It even features an industry-leading 119dB signal-to-noise ratio, +26dB of available gain, and below 0.005% total harmonic distortion.
