Bloom Light Pendant
Product Description
The Bloom Light Pendant utilizes petals of bent wood arranged into a symmetrical shape around the central bulb. Designer Tom Raffield draws the inspiration for many of his designs from nature and the inspiration for the Bloom Light came from the opening of a flower — hence the name. The Bloom Light has a sweep and flow that make it a statement piece. The large petals are made of high quality wood and mask much of the bulb, whilst also cutting through the light to create soft shadows and a warm glow.

About the Designer
Tom Raffield grew up surrounded by the extreme wilderness, tranquility and natural beauty of Exmoor, England, instilling in him a love of nature and natural materials. His fascination with the traditional practice of steam bending began while studying at Falmouth College of Arts. Years later, Tom has his own company through which he creates spectacular, ecologically sound, innovative furniture and lighting.
