In 1921 Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach pioneered the now famous "Rorschach inkblot test"— a series of mysterious ink blots used to evaluate a patient's thoughts and emotions by their response as to what the patterns remind them of. Kisai Rorschach is the first watch from Tokyo Flash Japan to use an ePaper display from eInk. The unique way that ePaper displays work means that the segments appear to be seamless. This is ideal for replicating the appearance of an inkblot on paper. With this watch, reading the time is straightforward, and there are 3 difficulty modes programmed into the watch: easy, medium, and hard. In all 3 modes the hours are shown in the top-right, the minutes in the bottom-left, the rest of the screen is a reflection of these digits which creates the inkblot effect. The date and alarm time are shown in the same way, and you can change between them by pressing the top button. Made of stainless steel, Kisai Rorschach has a super slim case, at just 6.2mm thin so fits comfortably on your wrist. The surface has a beautifully polished finish with sand blasted detail.
