Sunday Afternoon on La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat
Product Description
Painted between the years of 1884-1886, this masterpiece depicts a lovely summer day at the park. Vivid colors painted in dots form a process called optical unification, which tend to form a single hue in the viewer's eye. Seurat believed that doing this would make the colors more brilliant and powerful than standard brush strokes. Modernistic for its time, it'll also fit in well with any contemporary furniture. With deep texture, richness, and durability to boot, this version is made from fade-resistant ink that's equipped to last for more than 100 years.
