Longtime La Jolla surfboard shaper, architect and artist Tim Bessell is keeping Andy Warhol’s spirit alive through a series of six limited edition boards he was commissioned to design for the Andy Warhol Foundation. Each board bears the artist’s signature and one of his iconic images — like Last Supper displayed here.

Bessell chose a shorter surfboard shape that best complements 'Last Supper's' meaningful and compact design, using the board itself as a canvas to pay proper homage to the iconic artist.
