Tim Bessell

Tim Bessell has been shaping and designing surfboards since he was a young teenager. As “San Diego Surf” heads toward its La Jolla debut, there is no one more appropriate than a longtime La Jolla surfboard shaper, architect and artist to keep Andy Warhol’s spirit alive. Through a series of six limited edition boards, Bessell is curating surboard designs for the Andy Warhol Foundation, each bearing one of the artist’s iconic images and signature.
