As a long time cyclist, Thousand founder Gloria Hwang was never a fan of wearing a helmet. She always thought they were bulky, “sci-fi” nuisances. But after the loss of a friend, she knew she needed to change. Hoping to give others an option to change as well, she set out to build a helmet that people would actually want to wear.
