Vedat Ulgen

Vedat Ulgen, originally from Turkey, is a Brooklyn-based industrial designer. After graduating from Pratt Institute, he founded Thislexik in early 2014. He is particularly drawn to experimenting with new technologies and using materials in unconventional ways. Fueled by his father’s creativity and his mother’s entrepreneurial spirit, Vedat approaches every aspect of design — ranging from the scientific to the artistic, and always with a touch of humor — with a function in mind.
