Product Description
Made primarily from solid walnut wood, the Arc Wall Light is hand cut for each LED to fit snugly in the meticulously carved grooves. It contains three levels of depth, which allow the light bulbs to overlap each other.
The final product boasts an interactive design that allows users to adjust the placement and brightness of the LED bulbs. The hidden Tesla technology generates an electric field of energy that pushes electrons through the light bulb wirelessly. Because the lights are not directly connected to an energy outlet, they only illuminate when in close proximity to the Arc Light, transforming a stationary wall fixture into a functional and fun piece of art.

About the Designer
Vedat Ulgen, originally from Turkey, is a Brooklyn-based industrial designer. After graduating from Pratt Institute, he founded Thislexik in early 2014. He is particularly drawn to experimenting with new technologies and using materials in unconventional ways. Fueled by his father’s creativity and his mother’s entrepreneurial spirit, Vedat approaches every aspect of design — ranging from the scientific to the artistic, and always with a touch of humor — with a function in mind.
