Flower Garden and Bungalow, Bermuda // Winslow Homer // 1899
Product Description
Winslow Homer (1836-1910) was an American landscape artist, famous for his representations of water, as he primarily painted the oceanside places he preferred to travel. Self-taught, Homer began his career as a commercial illustrator before exploring both oil painting and watercolor. His oil paintings became much more famous, due to the weight and density that oil paints could exploit when painting the sea.
