School of Athens // Raphael // 1509
Product Description
Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (1493-1520), also known as simply Raphael, was an Italian Renaissance painter and architect. His long-standing works are revered for their realism, clarity, and visual composition. Together with Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, he forms the traditional trinity of great masters of that period, although he is the one to leave behind by far the largest surviving body of work.
