Step into summer - or any season - with this quartet of Cabernet Sauvignons from the best appellations in Washington state.

The 2013 Alder Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon features a dark ruby and garnet core with a crimson rim. Concentrated, expressive and intense; you'll taste aromas of blackberry, bing cherry, plums, and currants, with nuances of cocoa, truffles, and baking spices, along with sage and white pepper.

The 2014 Browne Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon is an inky red, almost black in color, heavily concentrated with black cherry, truffle oil and savory flavors of herb and mint, accented by aromas of dusty earth and graphite. Medium heavy tannins are balanced with bright, clean acidity, to finish with a good coating on the tongue of tannins that are fruit forward and balanced with cedar.

The 2010 Waterbrook Icon Cabernet Sauvignon provides bold flavors and aromas of ripe currant and plum accentuated by toasted oak with a smooth and lingering finish. Bold and rich with developed aromatics of blackberry, cherry, cedar, leather, and cocoa powder, the palate continues with deep blackberry jam, huckleberry, and black currant. The oak structure guides the way to lingering cocoa powder on the finish.

And finally, the 2015 The Huntsman Cabernet Sauvignon is a return to what we all want in a daily drinker: great aromatics that are focused and true to the variety, paired with a flavor structure that reflects a balanced and thoughtful wine. Three different AVA's give this wine balance, power and structure.
