The Bicycle Branded Black Book Manifesto is a Luxury Edition deck of designer playing cards highlighting an iconic brand that has been the center of many poker nights. The deck is beautifully designed entirely out of type and all built on the unique notion that we all hold a card within the playing card deck assigned to us based on the day we were born. Very similar to our zodiac sign, this suggest personal characteristics and traits for those who hold that card. Included within each deck are two chart cards to look up the corresponding playing card assigned to each birth month and date.
Each of the 54 cards within the deck are created through different distinct typographic designs with words suggesting the personality traits of those who are assigned to each card. Designed by UnCommon Beat, a design duo with Chicago roots, each card is its own custom piece of artwork, with a meticulously bold and balanced typographic design focusing on form, pattern, and type. Crafted on a Casino Air-Cushion finish stock with an Epic Black Classic Linen tuck box, each deck was printed in an extremely limited run by the United States Playing Card Co. which accentuates the significance of the collection.
