Product Description
The Toponi Officer has distinguished itself for its distinctive back case with opening door. Officers were usual to utilize such watches because, inside the door, they could hide small folded notes containing commissions or the battle orders. The Toponi Officer was born as an aviation watch, which is the reason why it is conceived with an offset dial, in order to facilitate the reading of the time during flight so that the pilot would not have to detach the hands from the cloche. For an easier wearability, the crown has also been moved. Instead of having it at 90° compared to the case, it has been positioned at hour 12 of the offset dial.
