Made in Thiers, France, in the workshop of 13th generation knife maker Tarrerias-Bonjean (TB), The S-NECK® knife was originally commissioned by The French Military association “Air Raid” in order to celebrate its 20th anniversary. It boasts a gorgeous Tanto-shaped blade inspired by ancestral Japanese swords. Featuring a “tattooed” handle, it can be left exposed or wrapped with the supplied Paracord. The 2 meters (6.5 feet) length of Paracord are sufficient to both wrap the handle and to be used as a lanyard for the sheath. The Kydex sheath is perfectly molded to the blade’s shape and allows you to carry safely the S-NECK® knife around the neck. The 3” blade is made of Nitrox® high carbon stainless steel for extreme corrosion resistance, long-lasting cutting edge and easy-resharpening.

Does the knife come with the cord wrapped? If not, are instructions provided?

The S-Neck knife does not come with the paracord already wrapped around the handle. It's sold that way so that people can have fun doing their own wrapping, with the desired length, thickness, and wrapping style.

It does not come with instructions but you can find tutorials online showing the different styles of wrapping.

Does it have assisted opening?

The S-Neck is a fixed-blade knife. It doesn't fold nor features assisted opening but, it is sold with a Kydex sheath for safe carrying and transporting.
