Product Description
Inspired by the adjustable and pivoting features of a classic architectural drafting lamp, this desk lamp rises from a rectangular steel base at an angle and extends horizontally, cantilevering 18 inches across your living room space with pure and precise counter balance. A linear sliver of steel allows for a beam of light to flood down onto the surface below while the pivoting arm allows for 180-degree rotation with very little pressure.
The lamp uses a 14-inch LED light bar that is highly-efficient, consuming only 6 watts and lasting nearly 100,000 hours.

About the Designer
A Los Angeles native and graduate from the USC School of Architecture, Taylor Donsker was trained to become an architect. However, his interests in furniture, or what he considers a, “scaled down form of architecture”, could never seem to escape him. After graduating from USC, he simultaneously practiced architecture and furniture design until early 2012, when clients from around the United States began demanding his pieces. Heavily influenced by architecture, his schooling allowed him to understand the structural properties and design possibilities of his now signature materials: concrete, steel, and wood. His pieces often grapple with the obsessions of modern architects such as weightlessness, abstraction, and simplified forms without losing their relation to human beings. Proportion, function, and quality are all deeply embedded in each design
