Login for PriceProduct Description
The British Army first took to the skies in September 1907. This mission was made possible by the British Army Dirigible No 1, christened Nulli Secundus, or Second to None, and was developed by Major-General Sir John Edward Capper, with help from American Samuel Franklin Cody. It demonstrated a significant step forward for the military and Britain as a whole, and the Limited Edition Swan & Edgar Hand Assembled Dirigible Nimbus Automatic Black men’s watch pays tribute to its significant accomplishment.
The 163 part 21 jewel hand assembled automatic movement reliably powers the luminous hands across a soaring raven-black dial. This is detailed by indices that boast navigation-like designs, and the Date, Date, Month and Minute counters complete a modest design that shares similarities with aircraft consoles.
Its night-black leather strap with yellow stitching contrasts dynamically with the steel IP case, and the Swan & Edgar logo engraved stainless steel caseback completes the piece. These features bring substance and design together to match the lofty ambitions of Capper and his team.
