The magnetic StudPoP® stud finder is 100% made in the USA, and requires no batteries or calibration. Just rub it on the wall and as soon as you ride it over a screw, the StudPoP’s patented “popper” will instantly pop out, alerting you to the location or the stud. And if you're using it on sheetrock (only sheetrock), it will stay attached to the wall, so you won't lose the stud or drop the finder, even if you accidentally let go!

Unlike every other stud finder on the market, the StudPoP® will work flawlessly on virtually any type of construction: plaster, wood lath, tile, marble, sheetrock and of course, metal studs. It will even find fasteners in ceilings, in case you need to find out where the strapping is before you start cutting holes for a light or fan.
