This Touch of Modern exclusive comes from Stray Dog Classics, the guys renowned for their refurbished Rovers. But they don’t carry stock and they only do custom builds. So if you want to go direct, you can’t even get your hot little hands on one of these machines for at least 6 months. This is it, pal. This is your shot.
And thanks to Stray Dog, this is your car. This rare 2-door Range Rover Classic was built in 1993. Land Rover discontinued 2-door Range Rover Classics for most of the world in 1988, but continued to make them for the Spanish and Portuguese markets until 1993. This one lived it's life rust free in the arid climate of Spain. Stray Dog took it, smacked it up, flipped it, and rubbed it down with upgrades like Apple CarPlay, Sirius XM, a rearview camera, and remote door locks. The interior boasts hand stitched leather upholstery, a new headliner, new carpet, and refurbished door cards. The exterior sports new bobbed front and rear bumpers, new wheels and tires, and new front and rear shocks (full refurbishment details listed below). Of course, no rebuild is complete without a new paint job and updated bodywork.
And in addition to a host of other upgrades, plusses, and perks, they took particular care in making sure that all of those iconic features that made “The Classic” a classic are lovingly replaced, refurbished, or restored, so that when the rubber literally hits the road, you’ll know that this sweet ride is true to its roots.
