Product Description
The 108" Beam Table expresses both lightness and strength. The legs of the trestle structure are made from short lengths of deep steel beams that are stabilized by stainless steel tie rods. The typical low invasive stretcher bar has been eliminated. The design of the aluminum support assembly allows maximum cantilever of the tabletop with minimum visible structure.
Made from black walnut, steel beams and stainless steel, this industrial table combines a minimal style with a robust structure.

About the Designer
Evan's mother was a painter and his father photographed modern architecture. Modernism was kind of a religion in his home. Living with the works of family friends such as the Eameses, George Nakashima and Alexander Calder gave him an initial education in design.
After studying architecture at Pratt Institute, Evan began doing sculpture in NYC. He and his friends rented an abandoned cheese factory in what was to become, Tribeca.
"My tables combine high-tech trestle structures with the warm surface of wood tabletops. We use walnut and ash from known sources and avoid the use of pollutants in manufacturing our products. All our plywood is FSC certified and coated with UV-cured finishes."
