He was just a good with his glove as his bat, winning 10 gold gloves to go along with 6 silver slugger awards. The 3 time MVP slugged 548 home runs over his career. Schmidt won the 1980 World Series with Philly, a series in which he won the World Series MVP title. In 1990, Schmidt's number 20 was retired by the Phillies, and in 1995, he was inducted to the Hall of Fame.
