Nick Metcalf has been intruiged by lava stone since he was a child, but it took a stiff rebuke from a French Chef in Versailles to inspire the creation of Steak Stones. Metcalf has modernized traditional hot stone cooking by combining some of nature’s strongest and most sustainable materials with sleek, contemporary design.
