Taking cues from the classical Golden Mean - a perfect ratio between extremes that's found in both mathematics and literature - the Blind Patch Table is held aloft by thin pieces of solid steel, that have been plated with a raw brass finish, creating a visual dual-experience of dense, robust materials, and the appearance of near levitation. This table uses methods of old-school craftsmanship and computer-aided woodworking to create simultaneously bold and subtle ‘patches’ in the wood tops natural grain.
