The Stanley London® premium quality, clear-coated solid brass refractor Harbormaster Telescope is mounted on a solid mahogany tripod. This engravable brass telescope uses the highest quality 32-power precision coated optics and is made with dent-resistant heavy 1.2 mm thick brass. The brass itself has a vapor deposition clear coating so the brass will not tarnish and never needs polishing.
The harbormaster telescope uses precision-ground, coated achromatic glass optics and produces a clear 32-power non-inverted image. For many years, mariners have considered 32-power to be the ideal balance between magnification and field of view. Focusing is accomplished by rotating a large adjusting ring near the eyepiece. A sunshade protects the objective lens from glare and the inside of the telescope is coated flat black to improve contrast.
